Hey there beauties! I’m going to start a new series where I test out budget friendly products each month and review them. As a college student, I am all for inexpensive beauty products and want to share them with you! This month I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and try new brow products:
- E.L.F. Cosmetics – Instant Lift Brow Pencil ($2)
- Essence – Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Mascara ($2.99)
First off, I love that the E.L.F. brow pencil has a spooly on the end – that is a must for me! As far as formula goes, the E.L.F. brow pencil is waxier and more pigmented than other drugstore brow pencils that I have used, which can be a little scary for beginners! So, use feather-light strokes and brush the spooly through your brow hairs to diffuse any pigment when needed. I plan on repurchasing the E.L.F. Instant Lift Brow Pencil once I run out!
You can buy it pretty much anywhere that sells E.L.F. (Target, Walmart, Ulta (online), CVS, etc)
What I like about Make Me Brow is that it has little fibers in it to create a fuller and defined brow look. I have been preferring a more natural brow look lately and Make Me Brow does just that. On my “no makeup, makeup days” I’ll just put on some concealer, mascara, and brush Make Me Brow through my brows. I will definitely repurchase Make Me Brow!!!!
