This has been my go-to, everyday makeup look for the past couple of weeks. I love how easy and quick it is to do and wanted to share it with you!
I first start off with my favorite primer, Benefit POREfessional, which I’ve been using pretty much every day for the past 6 months. It fills in pores and smooths out my skin. It’s a perfect base for any foundation and you only have to use a teeny tiny amount!
The next product I use is the Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Foundation. This foundation is the perfect coverage and finish for my combo/oily skin and I like that it comes with a pump. I love applying this with the Loreal infallible foundation sponge.
Anytime you use a beauty sponge make sure it is damp – run it under water until it is completely saturated and squeeze out the water! Damp beauty sponges will completely change your makeup game!
After applying foundation I like to use that same beauty sponge to blend out concealer. I like using the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in the brightener shade – it has a pink undertone to help brighten dark circles. I use the Maybelline concealer under my eyes and then I use Tarte Shape Tape down the bridge of my nose, on my chin, and a little on my forehead to highlight my face. These two concealers together are my perfect combo!
Next, I set my concealer. To set the concealer under my eyes, I use the lightest shade in the Kat Von D Shade + Light palette. This powder is very fine and doesn’t make my under eyes look cakey or dry. To set the rest of my face, I use Essence All About Matt! This powder keeps me matte for at least 8 hours and I don’t get flashback in pictures!!!
After setting my liquid/cream products in place, I put on Benefit Hoola Lite! This is a newer release from Benefit Cosmetics and it’s a pale girls dream for a bronzer. To apply, I use the little brush that comes with it sweep it around the perimeter of my face to add some color.
Next, I apply blush. My all-time favorite blush is Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush. It lasts all day and blends out easily. The shade I use is captivating.
After blush, I put on Essence Pure Nude. This is a beautiful “glow from within” highlight. I apply this to the top of my cheek bones, down the bridge of my nose, and a little bit on my cupids bow.
Once I finish with face products, I start with eye shadow. To prime my eyelids I use Tarte Shape Tape and set it with the Essence All About Matt! powder. I’ve been using the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette like crazy since I bought it. To start, I put Peaches ‘N Cream all over my lid. Then, I use a big fluffy brush to apply Georgia in my crease (I use circular and back in forth motions to apply it in my crease).
The next step is to apply the shade Puree in my crease. I use a smaller, tapered blending brush for this shade to concentrate it on the outer portion of the eye.
Then, I use my finger to apply Nectar, which is a beautiful golden/champagne shimmery shade. To highlight my inner corner and brow bone I apply White Peach. For the lower lash line, I mix Georgia and Puree.
Once I’m done with the eye shadow, I apply Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliner in Stag really close to my lash line. The eyeliner really does glide-on and lasts all day! After eyeliner, I curl my lashes and put on two coats of Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara. This mascara lengthens and volumizes my lashes without getting clumpy.
To finish the eyes, I use The Anastasia Brow Definer and Essence Make Me Brow. With the brow definer, I fill in the sparse areas of my brows and set everything in place with Make Me Brow.
Lastly, I apply Tarte’s new Color Splash Hydrating Lipstick in the shade Sunkissed. I’ve only had this lipstick for a couple of days, but it’s already a favorite of mine and I have worn it every day since it came in the mail!
I hope you have a fun and safe weekend! Let me know if you like seeing posts like this 🙂
