I don’t know about you, but for me it seems like every September-December I am ballin’ on a budget. So, I figured it would be the perfect time to share my favorite drugstore makeup! You’ve probably seen me post about a majority of these products, but I figured it would be helpful to have them all in one post!
- E.l.f. Flawless Finish Foundation ($6)
This is a new favorite of mine. The finish is slightly dewy/luminous and I love it, even with my combo skin! The coverage is medium, but you can build it to full. I also love that it has a pump, and the packaging is so sleek and high end.
***P.S. on e.l.f’s website it’s 50% off when you spend $30 until tomorrow (8/31)! Use code “CELEBRATE”
- Maybelline Master Conceal ($7), Maybelline Age Rewind ($8), Maybelline Fit Me Concealer ($6)
So, I basically love all of Maybelline’s concealers… lol. I use the age rewind and fit me concealer on a daily basis. I use master conceal when I need some extra concealing of those dark circles.
- Essence All About Matt! Fixing Compact Powder ($4)
I use this on my t-zone, to set down a tacky foundation, and even under my eyes. By the end of the day, I only notice some oiliness peaking through on my forehead. Also, I don’t get any flash back in pictures, which is a plus!
- E.l.f. Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder in Fiji ($4)
Both of these shades are perfect for fair/light skin tones. The blush is a beautiful apricot/pink shade with a very subtle luminous finish. The bronzer is a tad on the warm side and blends out beautifully.
- Maybelline Master Bronze & Highlight Kit ($12)
I love this palette! You can use it for your face and your eyes. All the shades blend out easily and compliment fair to medium skin tones.
- Loreal Infalliable Eye Shadow in Amber Rush ($7)
To be completely honest, I haven’t tried many drugstore eye shadow palettes or singles. However, this shade and formula is pretty much all I need! I’ll use bronzer in my crease and then put this all over my lid when I need to get ready quick. It doesn’t crease or budge all day long.
- Essence Gel Waterproof Eye Pencil ($3)
This is the only eyeliner that I own that doesn’t wear off in my tight line! It’s super black and glides on.
- Maybelline Brow Precise Fiber Volumizer ($9)
This adds little tiny fibers to your brows and I hardly ever fill in my brows now that I use this. I love how neutral toned the blonde is, too! Most of the time, I find that drugstore brow products are too warm toned.
- Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect ($5), Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black ($6)
I love how much volume both of these add to my lashes!!! If you prefer more of a lengthening mascara, these probably won’t be your favorite.
- Maybelline Color Sensational – The Buffs in Nude Lust ($8)
All of the Maybelline Color Sensational lipsticks are so creamy, pigmented and comfortable. I love the huge range of shades that they have, too! My all time favorite nude shade is Nude Lust. It is the perfect pinky nude shade for my skin tone. This is my second time purchasing it and it is the only lipstick I have ever gone through without it drying out or expiring.
I definitely want to start trying out more drugstore makeup. What are some of your favorite products from the drugstore?!
