Lash Serum – is it Worth the Hype?!

I’m just going to keep this post short and simple.  The answer to the question in the title is YES!

I had the opportunity to try out Rodan + Fields Lash Boost Serum.  On the R+F website it describes Lash Boost as an “eyelash-conditioning serum clinically shown to visibly enhance eyelash volume and length in as little as 4 weeks”.  They also recommend that you use it for 8 weeks to see full results.  All you have to do is apply one swipe of the serum on your lash line after you apply all your skin care products for the night.

I somehow can’t find the before picture on my laptop (bc I suck), but if you know me, you will know what a huge difference it is! Here are my results:

I’ll be honest, after the first two weeks I already started to notice that my lashes were darker.  I naturally have very light lashes, and I wasn’t comfortable going without mascara.  So, I was super excited to see a difference.

After the four weeks I noticed my lashes were super long! However, at this point, I didn’t notice a huge difference in the volume of my lashes, since I already had fuller lashes to begin with.

From weeks 4 to 8 I didn’t see any major changes, but my lashes did get a bit longer.  Overall, I’m super happy with my results!  I am more confident in going completely makeup-free, since my lashes are darker.  Some days all I will do is just curl my lashes and leave the house!  And days where I do want to wear makeup, I don’t have to apply multiple coats of mascara, just one coat does the trick!

Recently, I have been testing this out on my eyebrows, too!  I have a small sparse spot on one of my eyebrows and I’ve already noticed a difference after 3 weeks.  I have light brown eyebrow hairs to begin with, so I’m not sure if it would darken the eyebrows, too.  Personally, I didn’t notice a difference in color.

If you are interested in trying out Rodan + Fields Lash Boost let me know, so I can hook you up with my consultant!

xoxo,

Jenn
